Introducing the Mental Oasis Podcast
A Quarantine Project with Heart
You might call it my quarantine baby. The Mental Oasis podcast was born in a closet—literally—while I was under stay-at-home orders in New York. Like many people during that time, I was looking for meaningful ways to stay connected and grounded, both for myself and for others. What started as a personal idea quickly grew into a collaborative effort.
I’m deeply grateful to the friends and colleagues who helped along the way—from teaching me how to navigate Podbean and Apple Podcasts, to selecting equipment, recording, editing, and even creating the cover art. It was a community-powered creation, and I’m so proud to now share it with you.
What You’ll Find in Mental Oasis
The intention behind this podcast is simple but powerful: to offer listeners a brief pause in the day—a space for reflection, calm, and renewed clarity. Each episode is designed to be a mental oasis: a time to breathe deeply, gain insight, and reset before returning to whatever the day holds.
In many episodes, I include guided reflections and meditations. I often encourage journaling after listening, as a way to deepen awareness and carry the experience into your everyday life.
